Device Setup Instructions

Select your device (or a similar one, as the settings will most likely be identical) and follow a few simple steps

Step 1

Open your phone’s settings

At the top, find and tap the 'Connected devices' section

Step 3

Configure your phone to use dns.adnull.com

In the popup window, select the provider hostname option for the private DNS server — indicator 1

A text field will appear below — enter 'dns.adnull.com' there — indicator 2

Save the settings — indicator 3

Step 1

Open your computer’s settings

To do this, click the 'Start' menu

Step 1

Open the general Wi - Fi settings

In the upper-right corner of the screen, find and click the Wi - Fi icon — indicator 1

A menu will appear; at the bottom, click Wi - Fi settings — indicator 2

Open the settings of the desired Wi - Fi connection

Open the settings of the connected Wi - Fi access point by tapping 'Details' — indicator 1, or click ... next to the network you want to edit and select 'Details' from the dropdown — indicator 2

Configure Wi - Fi to use dns.adnull.com

On the left in the popup window, find and click DNS — indicator 1. You will see the current list of DNS servers — indicator 2

Use the '-' button to delete unnecessary entries — indicator 3

Click the '+' button and enter the IP address of the AdNull DNS server:188.190.191.78 — indicator 1. Click 'OK' to save the settings — indicator 2

Step 1

Open the general network settings

In the lower-right corner of the screen, find and click the Wi - Fi or wired connection icon — indicator 1

Configure the use of the AdNull DNS server

Make sure the correct connection is selected — indicator 1. Select the IPv4 tab — indicator 2

In the dropdown menu, choose the value shown in the picture — indicator 3. Enter the IP address of the AdNull DNS server:188.190.191.78 — indicator 4, then click 'Apply' — indicator 5.

Step 3

Restart the network

In some cases, you may need to reconnect the network. To do this, click 'Disconnect' — indicator 1. After that, the system will automatically reconnect using your updated settings.

Step 1
